Nicar Maritime Services a company constituted in Naples Italy in 2022, is the fruit of a

working relationship, that initiated back in 2010, between two people that came from

two deferent sectors but yet had the same passion in the shipping transportation world.

One in the break bulk, and the other in RO-RO. It was that passion back in 2010, in west

Africa that brought both to start collaborating together, and finally got them to actually

start a company in Naples, Italy close to one of the largest shipowners in the world.

Our work, over the years, has brought us to become one of the largest cars and trucks

shippers from north Europe and Genova to North Africa and in particularly Libya. 

Our operations include USA to west Africa, and USA to Libya. Our team is also working on opening other markets in the Middle East from Europe and the USA.

The decision to form Nicar, was take between the both of them so as to optimize and

aggregate the work that was being done over the years on individual basis into a one

entity company to better manage the infrastructures, the resources, and to merge all

efforts and know-how for a more solid reality.

While our company collaborates with many RORO shipowners it also charters ships to

serve our land terminals in Amsterdam, Germany and Genova.

We currently collaborate directly with the following shipowners:

⁃ the Grimaldi Group

⁃ The Salloum Group

⁃ Clapotis Maritime DMCC

⁃ Private Chartered vessels on the market mainly for Genova, Wilhelmshaven and

Koopman.

Our Chartering Activity through our sister company included the following RoRo ships:

⁃ MV-AVIVA

⁃ MV-PELAGIC PIRANHA

⁃ MV-AYA M

⁃ MV-NAPOLI (Will be calling Genova end March to Libya)

We also run 2 terminal dedicated spaces, and have a constant presence in a Genova

terminal namely the following:

⁃ Amsterdam : the Koopman terminal

⁃ Germany : Wilhelmshaven terminal

⁃ Genova: IMT Messina terminal

We have two booking offices; one covering the USA and one covering Europe. Our staff is

highly professional, multilingual (English, Italian, Arabic French. Portuguese) and available

on 24/h basis as we operate on too sides off the ocean therefore giving our clients the

possibility to always have someone to talk to and resolve any operational difficulty.

Nicar has a strong presence in Misurata and Tripoli through the most reputable agents

namely:
